My name is Roland S. Ybarra I am a self-taught canine trainer. I have been involved in dog training for the past 15 years.

 

I have mainly been involved in the sport of Schutzhund for 15 years. In that time I have logged over 5,000 hours of canine training. I have trained 3 of my own canines to the IPO 3 Level of Master Trainer. During this time, I have trained and attended seminars of some of the best canine trainers in the United States.

 

I have trained canines in obedience, tracking, and protection for the sport of Schutzhund.  I have helped others successfully become good handlers and have helped train countless canines to different levels of Schutzhund.

 

I have also trained canines for everyday/ordinary folks. I have trained these canines for everyday and real life situations. 

 

 To better understand the needs of the canine and the owners, I evaluate the canine and interview the owners. Once I understand what is needed I will bring the dog into my home for a 30 day program. This basic program consists of on-leash obedience. In my training, I will incorporate day to day situations such as behaving inside the home, socializing with humans and other animals, and walking around the neighborhood.

 

My goal is to educate the owners so that they may enjoy their companion. It is also very important to me to insure that the canine will have a good home and a loving family.  Training canines and handlers is a passion that I truly enjoy.  I look forward to working with you and your canine in the near future.
